Clarendon Ski Andorra 2016
The sky was blue, the slopes were white as 18 tentative souls took to the slopes of Andorra, many for the first time in their lives.
As one would expect there were a few crashes and bashes on the way to becoming competent skiers, notably Georgia Hannaford managing to lodge a ski in a tree, Ben Ransome seemed to have an uncontrollable urge to ski into netting and both Callum Donaldson and Joe Honeywell found a need for speed.
Nevertheless all the beginners set a new standard of achievement and progress. All mastered the blue slopes by the end of the week, many a few reds and even the hardest black slopes held no fear for Joe Honeywell as he joined the top group for the majority of the week.
After each hard days ski everyone still managed the good humour to join in to some of our crazy après ski activities such as bowling and the inter-room competitions.
A huge thank you to all the students from the staff as their behaviour, can-do attitude and sense of fun made it a fantastic week for everyone, including the hotel staff who couldn’t praise you all enough and for all the laughs you gave them too!
Next Year’s trip letters will be out very soon so start saving now and get your spot for 2017
