In July I was lucky enough to take a group of ten students to South Africa. Our trip began with a week in a private game reserve, studying Elephants, Lions, Buffalo, Leopards and Rhinoceros. These are commonly known as the big five, as they are the five deadliest to hunt. We were also lucky enough to see lots of Giraffe, Zebra, many Antelope. The majority of our trips around the reserve were spent in open top jeeps, which enabled us to get fairly close to the animals and take some amazing photographs.
The second week was spent scuba diving at a resort called Sodwana Bay, the students were given the chance to complete their PADI diving qualification. Between the group we managed to see hump back whales, many pods of dolphins, and one group got to dive with some reef sharks.
We had a fantastic time, everyone returned with lovely tan and a few more laughter lines.
