Friends of Clarendon
What we do
We are a fundraising group of parents who volunteer their time to raise funds for the school to help improve our children’s learning and extra curricular activities.
We provide the extras and funding for all departments, including projects and extra equipment needed in lessons and clubs. We fund awards, school trips and make a big impact on your child’s learning experience, especially in these times of austerity.
We have recently helped to fund study books for the Science Faculty, funding for MMA Classes, The Green Power Challenge Race Days at Castle Combe and supported the sixth form Race Car and improvements for next years race season, donated garden plants for the school gardens who came second in the Trowbridge in Bloom category of ‘Pride in our School,’ we funded the year 7 annual tent hire for their summer camp 2014, and finally provided this years trophies for the FOC Community Award and the Connor Robinson Trophy for the achievement evening
We help the fundraising by applying for grants for specific projects. At present we are supporting the
development of the Orchard and DT centre Garden.
If you value your child’s education and want to make a difference then please do join us and help us make their time at Clarendon Academy the best time of their lives.
