Teacher of Science (Biology specialist) – September 2018
We are seeking an excellent and ambitious Teacher of Science, specialising in Biology. The successful candidate will join a strong team under an excellent new Head of Science. A suitable candidate would have the opportunity to teach the full age range from Years 7 to 13.
This is an exciting time to join Clarendon. We have just been graded as a ‘Good’ provider by OFSTED (November 2017), following ‘Good’ ratings in 2012 and 2014. We are also about to join a local Multi-Academy-Trust which will help to drive the school to our ambition of being an outstanding provider for our community.
Clarendon is located in Wiltshire’s county town of Trowbridge, which is easily commutable from Bath, Bristol and other local towns in west Wiltshire and north-east Somerset. We are close to many areas of outstanding natural beauty in the south-west of England and south Wales.
We have a proud comprehensive ethos – every child matters – and an excellent record of staff development; many of our leaders have developed their careers rapidly at this school.
