The staff of Clarendon Academy are delighted by the results received today by Year 11 students. They have worked incredibly hard during the last two years towards these qualifications and should be really proud of what they have achieved.

Nearly two-thirds of students averaged a grade 4 and above across all of their subjects, with 40% of these averaging at least a grade 5.

In GCSE subjects we are delighted that over 11% of all grades were at 7 (A) or above.

In vocational subjects 16% of all grades were at Level 2 Distinction or Level 2 Distinction *.

As a result of these excellent results we are delighted that around 60 of our students will be joining our Sixth Form. The majority of other students have achieved the grades they need to go on to further study or begin apprenticeships next year.

Mr Craig Turze, Headteacher, was delighted with the efforts of Year 11: “All of those receiving their results today should be proud of themselves and are well set up for the next steps in their educational journey. Like all teenagers, they have faced many challenges during their time at secondary school and the resilience they have shown is impressive”.
