Start of the new Academic Year 2024

In September we have allocated 2 days for Induction:

Students in our new Year 7 and new Year 12 will return to school on Wednesday 4th September at 8:45am.

All other year groups will not be in school on this day. All other year groups will return to school on Thursday 5th September at 8:45am (along with Year 7 and Year 12). On this day students will start the day in their new tutor groups and receive their timetables for the year ahead.

To prepare your child for their first full day back in school, please could we ask the following:

• Students must be in school by 8.45am.

• They should go to their Tutor Room on Thursday 5th September for 8:45am. They will be informed of their new tutor group and room before the end of this year.

• Students will receive their timetable, and any other updates we need to share.

• Students must wear full school uniform.

School Uniform

Students will be required to wear full school uniform from the first day back in September. Please see our website for all the information you need to know. Please don’t worry – we are not introducing any new items of uniform.

Equipment List

Please ensure your son/daughter is fully equipped with at least the following:

• A school bag

• A pen (blue or black)

• A purple pen (for responding to feedback)

• A pencil

• A ruler

• A scientific calculator
